Construction and practice of teaching performance evaluation index system in secondary colleges in higher education institutions—taking Southern Medical University as an example

Abstract: College is the main body of teaching work in higher education institutions and the implementer of higher education talent cultivation activities. Its teaching status directly reflects the teaching quality and school running level of higher education institutions, and determines the quality of connotation construction of colleges and universities. Establishing a comprehensive, objective and practical undergraduate teaching performance evaluation and incentive mechanism is the core to improve the overall teaching level of a university. Based on the scientific analysis of the necessity of establishing a long term mechanism for teaching performance evaluation in colleges and universities, this paper summarizes and draws on the existing research results and practical experiences,  combines the practice of Southern Medical University, and discusses the specific problems of the construction of teaching performance evaluation index system in secondary colleges of universities.
