Abstract: The project of Clinical Learning Through Extended Immersion in Medical Simulation (CLEIMS)was developed by School of Medicine, Griffith University in Australia. CLEIMS  project is to establish a clinical skills training center simulating the real medical environment on campus, so that students can concentrate on 7-day medical practice in a highly simulated working environment, with opportunities for independent thinking, decision-making and operation. CLEIMS integrates PBL teaching method, interprofessional learning (IPL) and workshops to strengthen the clinical skills training of medical students. After 10 years of practice and improvement, CLEIMS has achieved remarkable teaching effect and has become a specialty course in Griffith University. This paper introduced the setting, implementation process and application advantages of CLEIMS project, hoping to provide reference for the development of medical simulation teaching in China.
