Abstract: Objective  To analyze the role of CBL combined with multi-modality neuro-navigation system in standardized training for residents in neurosurgery department. Methods  A total of 595 standardized training residents in neurosurgery department of the First Affiliated Hospital of Soochow University from 2017 to 2020 were divided into traditional teaching group and CBL group. After completing the neurosurgery training, the test was carried out and the difference between the two groups was compared. Results   The examination results of both the traditional teaching group and CBL group were improved after training, and CBL group with better results, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion  The application of CBL combined with multi-modality neuro-navigation system in standardized training for residents in neurosurgery department can match the requirements of the training center, effectively solve the difficulties of neuroimaging teaching process, improve the examination results of the students, and make the students have stronger clinical thinking ability.
