MethodsA total of 48 students in our hospital were randomly divided into two groups. The observation group adopted “ideological and political elements” in situational teaching method, and the control group adopted the traditional teaching method. The results of theoretical examination, practical skill assessment and teaching evaluation satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results There were no significant difference in the scores of theoretical test scores between two groups (P>0.05). Comparing the scores of clinical practice skills between the two groups, the experimental group was better than the control group in terms of patient receiving ability, clinical thinking path analysis, medical advice disposal, medical record writing, doctor-patient communication and total score of practical skills (P<0.05). Compared the questionnaire on both groups’ teaching effect, the scores to enhance interest in learning, improve autonomous learning, ability of solidarity and cooperation, improve professional ethics and overall teaching satisfaction were significantly higher than those of the control group (P<0.05).
