Medical humanistic spirit cultivation mode for nursing undergraduates and its practice in the “HEART” system——take Medical College Shantou University as an example

Abstract: Objective  With the emphasis of “Healthy China 2030” strategy on medical humanistic, higher requirements are put forward for the cultivation of high-quality nursing talents. At present, medical education lacks enough attention to the cultivation of humanistic spirit of nursing students, and the effectiveness is not ideal. This paper proposes an innovative humanistic spirit cultivation mode with “HEART” system as the core,  combines  a variety of teaching methods,  from the nursing specialty characteristic curriculum and humanities curriculum, into medical practice, network platform construction and interdisciplinary cooperation platform and other aspects of practical exploration. This mode has formed a multidisciplinary training mode of high-level nursing  talents with humanistic feelings and professional spirit, which has improved their ability  to better serve the strategy of health center.
