Thoughts on development of medical programs in local medical schools under the background of “Double Ten-Thousand Plan” ——a case  of program development in Harbin Medical University

Abstract: The “Double Ten-Thousand Plan” has brought opportunities and challenges for the development of first-class undergraduate programs in local medical schools. Centering on the background of “Double Ten-Thousand Plan” and taking Harbin Medical University as an example, this paper systematically sorted out the practice and effects of local medical schools in educational philosophy, program layout, faculty development, professional education, teaching bases and quality culture, so as to provide reference for program development in local medical schools.
