Study on competence-oriented CBL clinical teaching in infectious diseases specialty

Abstract: The clinical teaching of infectious disease is faced with such challenges as multiple pathogenic sources, multiorgan system treatment and difficulty in diagnosis, particularly, for the graduate students. For the infectious disease cases with no definite diagnosis, the paper focused on how to take measures to protect students from infection and fully call out students’ enthusiasm and initiative. The aim is to enhance the students’ ability and make sure they are qualified for clinical work. We concluded that CBL is suitable for clinical teaching of infectious diseases specialty, which is helpful to improve the interest and initiative of students.
