Practice and prospect of youth labor education development in traditional Chinese medicine colleges

Abstract: Objective To explore the mechanism of youth labor education in traditional Chinese medicine colleges from the perspective of teachers, and better carrying out the work of youth labor education in traditional Chinese medicine colleges and universities.Methods An in-depth interviews with 21 instructors in the administrative departments of Beijing University of Chinese Medicine and qualitative analysis of the interview data using Nvivo 12.0 software.Results Through three-level coding based on grounded theory, a model of youth labor education mechanism in traditional Chinese medicine colleges and universities was constructed, encompassing three stages (training, education, and promotion), six dimensions, and twelve educational indicators.Conclusion The work of labour education has answered the "three questions of education". Relying on the training of student assistant positions, it realizes the dual improvement of abilities and value beliefs. The two-way evaluation mechanism continuously optimizes the labor education system, leads the labor education in colleges and universities to a new level, and shapes a new pattern of all-round education.
