Cultivation and practice of medical students’humanistic literacy—taking Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine as an example

Abstract: Medical humanities are the soul of medicine and an indispensable part in training medical professionals. It is one of the main tasks of current medical education to strengthen medical humanistic education to meet the requirements of “Healthy China” strategy and improve medical students’ humanistic practice ability. Combining with the goal of medical talent training, Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine constantly reforms and innovates humanities curriculum, teaching model and methods, practical education, teacher training, and other aspects, so as to provide excellent medical talents with a benevolent heart for “Health China”.
