Abstract: Objective　To explore the status, hotspots and author cooperation to provide a theoretical basis for the research of medical talents cultivation under the background of New Medicine.Methods　Relevant data was retrieved from CNKI journal full-text database. The bibliometry and co-word analysis were applied and knowledge maps were drawn up with Citespace5.8.R3.Results　The amount of literature on medical talents cultivation showed a fluctuating upward trend. The talents cultivation, training mode, and mode reform were the research hotspot in this field. The author cooperation network in the field of medical talents cultivation is not very strong.Conclusion　The overall number and influence of the research on medical talents cultivation are relatively small at present. Increasing attention has been paid to medical talents cultivation under the background of New Medicine, so we should focus on expanding the breadth and depth of relevant research.
