Abstract: The National Healthcare System aims to meet the basic medical needs, raise the level of basic medical insurance, build the mechanism, strengthen the weak points, more importantly, cultivate GP(general practitioners). The cultivation of rural-oriented tuition-waived medical students is a good way to strengthen the team of rural doctors. In this paper, we innovated the collaborative education model of "medicine & education, school & government, home & school" of rural-oriented tuition-waived medical students, aiming to cultivate high-quality applied medical talents who settle down in Guizhou province and serve the grassroots, as well as set an example from Zunyi Medical University and practical experience for the cultivation of national oriented medical students.
