Abstract: Nursing English Multimodal Corpus takes audio-visual materials as corpus and truly reflects the applications of nursing English. It has great potentials in promoting audio-visual teaching and research of nursing English. Compared with text-based nursing English corpus, Nursing English Multimodal Corpus has advantages in context representation,corpus authenticity and timeliness. Starting from the theoretical basis of the construction and application of Nursing English Multimodal Corpus, this paper discusses the data collection, corpus annotation and building tools, analyzes the application value of Nursing English Multimodal Corpus and puts forward the application countermeasures based on teaching practice.
