Abstract: The components of critical thinking include attitudes, knowledge and skills. In the early stage of undergraduate education and teaching of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), we should deepen the cultivation of thinking attitude, strengthen medical humanities education, and guide students to shape positive, rational, reflective, flexible, open and creative personality and values. In the early and middle stages, we should strengthen the mastery of critical thinking knowledge through independent courses or lectures. In the middle and later stages, we should adopt situational or case-based teaching methods to improve their thinking skills, and reform evaluation methods to flexibly cultivate students’ reasoning and reflection skills.
