Application of scene simulation teaching in emergency training of significant public health events for public health doctors

Abstract: To improve emergency response capabilities of public health professionals in significant public health events,we adopted scene simulation teaching in significant public health events including investigation and management training such as situational settings, desktop deduction, situational deduction, self evaluation and teacher summary. This method not only stimulated learning enthusiasm and participation, but also improved ability on investigation and management on significant public health events. Therefore it could be of some help to use this method in other areas of public health teaching practice, and to establish public health scene simulation teaching system, as well as to integrate into public health personnel continuing education.
