Application value of scenario simulation method in assisting teaching internship in general surgery

Abstract: Objective To explore the value of Scenario simulation method in assisting teaching internship in general surgery. Methods 60 medical internals of the clinical profession were randomly divided into two groups from July to December 2015 in our department, group A (30 cases by traditional teaching method) and group B (30 cases by traditional teaching and scenario simulation method). Theory test on knowledge of common diseases were conducted before and after the practice. The skill tests were also conducted. Results The test scores of theory test were higher after the practice in both groups. Compared with group A, the score of theory test and skill test in group B were higher, and group B felt more satisfied during the internship. Conclusion Scenario simulation method has certain value in the teaching of general surgery.
