Abstract: There is a great need for continuing medical education of hepatology in China. Yet, a lot of work still needs to be done to improve the education strategies, courses, education management and brand development. ECHO project from New Mexico University is a useful model to improve our hepatology continuing education quality. We should set standard course for every continue education program, prompt case-based program, build an internet platform for sufficient communication, and maintain strict financial management. Only in this way can we build our own brand, which is important to improve our continuing medical education.
