Take clinical medicine professional certification as an opportunity to promote the development of medical education connotation

Abstract: The connotation construction of university is objective for development, and is an only way to enhance the quality and "soft power" of university. However, the connotation building needs a good institutional support for guarantee and maintenance. The clinical professional certification just provides such an opportunity. By comparison with the requirements of "Medical Education Standards for Undergraduate - Clinical Medicine (for Trial Implementation)", the university's administrators actively carried out a reform on education, to analyze the situation of professional building and development, as well as the level of the same profession in China, by means of self-diagnosis and evaluation with the assistance of experts. On the basis of such re-examination on the training for medical professional talents, the connotation construction of university was directed and advanced. Thus, the quality of personnel training was gradually improved to meet the society needs for medical professionals.
