Establishment and practice of the evaluation system of Chinese Materia Medica  in blended teaching mode

Abstract: ObjectiveTo build the evaluation system of Chinese Materia Medica based on the blended teaching mode. MethodsAccording to the training objectives, curriculum objectives, students, characteristics, teaching methods and teaching conditions of Traditional Chinese Medicine and clinical pharmacy, the evaluation system of Chinese Materia Medica was designed and applied to teaching practice. ResultsWe establish the evaluation system of Chinese Materia Medica that is the ratio of summative evaluation and formative evaluation was 1∶1. The main contents of formative evaluation included flipped classroom, PBL, medical record analysis, chapter tests and mid-term examination based on BB platform, classroom questioning and interactive evaluation, student attendance, questionnaire survey, student individual feedback and teachers collective feedback, etc. ConclusionThe establishment of the evaluation system of Chinese Materia Medica is helpful for students to improve their learning effects and methods; and teachers can obtain continuous feedback in the teaching process and improve teaching strategies in time.
