Medical personnel training mode of “teacher leading apprentice” through “team based” medical aid to Tibet

Abstract: Due to the objective conditions, the medical level of Tibet Autonomous Region is relatively backward and the medical talents are relatively scarce. The “team based” aid for Tibet medical project has laid favorable foundation for the development of medical level and the training of medical talents in Tibet. The training mode of “teaching leading apprentice” includes establishing the responsibility system of “teaching with apprentice”, focusing on clinical practicability, strengthening the training of practical ability, paying attention to medical humanities education and clinical scientific research ability. The previous practice has achieved desired results, and the level of local medical talents has reached the expected goals. This mode is worth implementing and promoting in the future work.
