Present situation and consideration of faculty doctors for “3+2” training programs

Abstract: Objective To discover the problems in the training process, and put forward suggestions to improve the quality of training through the investigation of present situation of faculty doctors for “3+2” training programs. Methods Based on the problems of present situation of faculty doctors, we conducted an investigation on faculty doctors, training administrative staff and students, and analyzed the survey results. Results Faculty doctors had good teaching attitude and awareness, they were positive to the teacher training, but there were some problems with the number and qualification of teachers, implementation of teacher training and the teacher incentives. Conclusion To establish and improve a quality general teacher team, training administrative staff should regularly review the teacher quantity and qualification, strengthen the teacher training, and improve the teacher evaluation system and incentives.
