Innovative training paradigm for excellent public health talents-taking Vanke School of Public Health, Tsinghua University as an example

Abstract: To achieve modernization of the national governance system and governance capacity, it is urgent to speed up the establishment of a talent training and employment mechanism compatible with the modern disease prevention and control system and make up for the shortcomings of public health talent development as soon as possible. The global pandemic has brought huge impact on human health, the world economy and social development. Trends such as industrialization, urbanization, climate and ecological environment changes, and population aging have also posed huge challenges to the sustainable development of human health. To solve these problems that affect human development, explore and establish an innovative training paradigm for excellent public health talents, and cultivate inter-disciplinary public health leading talents who understand technology, are good at management and dare to innovate and have ideas of overall situation and compassions are also the needs for the reform and development of global public health education.
