Research on regional health resource equity under Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Integration

Abstract: Objective To analyze the equity of health resources allocation before and after the new medical reform in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region of China, analyze the reality and institutional reasons of the lack of equity in health services in the three regions, and provide suggestions for improving the equity of health resources allocation. Methods Concentration index (CI) is used to study the change trend of regional health resource allocation and equity under the background of integration of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region in China. Results After the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei integration, the fairness of allocation of health resources has improved, while the fairness of medical resources in the three regions has gradually slowed down. Conclusion The Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region should attach great importance to the allocation of high-quality medical and health talents in the region, and the relevant government departments should play their leading role in solving the problem of unequal distribution of medical and health resources.
