Application of virtual reality in standardized training for residents

摘要: 目的 探讨虚拟现实(virtual reality,VR)技术在住院医师规范化培训(简称规培)中的应用效果。方法 选取安徽医科大学第二附属医院规培医生45人为研究对象,随机分为试验组22人和对照组23人。对照组采用传统的理论授课和实验分组教学方法,试验组在对照组理论课授课基础上采用VR教学方法。教学结束后,两组学员分别进行理论知识考核、操作评分及满意度调查,综合评价教学效果。结果 试验组的理论知识考核及操作评分均高于对照组,差异具有统计学意义(P<0.05)。满意度调查问卷显示:VR使用的总体满意度得分较高,尤其是VR设备的使用感与体验感方面,认为其沉浸感强、操作简单,能够大大提高学习兴趣;在VR是否可以替代传统教学这一单项问题上则认为尽管VR作为新兴的教学方式能够很好地弥补传统教学存在的问题,但是尚有部分内容不能被模拟,因此并不能完全取代传统教学,而应与传统教学方式相互结合。结论 VR技术可以增加学生的学习兴趣,提高操作技能。

Abstract: Objective To explore the application effect of virtual reality technology in standardized training for residents.Methods A total of 45 standardized training doctors from the Second Affiliated Hospital of Anhui Medical University were selected and randomly divided into the experimental group (n=22) and the control group (n=23). The control group adopted traditional theoretical teaching and experimental grouping teaching methods, while the experimental group received VR teaching method based on the theoretical teaching of the control group. After training, a comprehensive evaluation of theoretical knowledge assessment, operation score and questionnaire survey were carried out for both groups to evaluate the teaching effects.Results The theoretical knowledge assessment and operation scores of the experimental group were significantly higher than those of the control group (P<0.05). The questionnaire showed that the overall satisfaction score of VR use was relatively high, especially in the sense of using VR equipment for it had a strong sense of immersion and was easy to operate, which can greatly enhance interest in learning. However, on the single question of whether VR can replace traditional teaching, it was believed that although as an emerging teaching method, VR can make up for the existing problems of traditional teaching, there are still some contents that cannot be simulated. Therefore, VR should be supplemented with traditional teaching methods rather than replace it.Conclusion VR technology increases the learning interest and the operational skills of the standardized training doctors, which is worth further research and promotion.
