Abstract: Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) is an acute infectious disease caused by a novel corona virus (SARS-CoV-2). The emergence and spread of SARS-CoV-2 has brought great challenges to global public health safety. The designated medical institutions of COVID-19 are the frontlines for treating the confirmed cases, especially patients with severe and critical diseases. This article explores how to quickly establish novel coronavirus infection prevention and control system in the fight of epidemic, to reduce the risk of transmission in medical institutions, to protect frontline medical staff and workers, other patients and visiting family members from infection, how to ensure the successful diagnosis and treatment of new coronavirus infection. This article shares novel coronavirus pneumonia infection prevention and control measures in Beijing You’an hospital, Capital Medical University.
