Abstract:  Children and Adolescent Health is an important part of preventive medicine, and is of great significance to carry out the assessment of experimental skills. Students’ supportive attitude toward skill assessment is an important factor influencing teaching reform. There is currently no report on the willingness of preventive medicine undergraduates to support the experimental skill assessment of “Children and Adolescent Health”. A questionnaire was designed and the corresponding scale was used to investigate undergraduates majoring in preventive medicine. The results showed that preventive medicine undergraduates have a high degree of support for the experimental skill assessment of Children and Adolescent Health. High-efficiency academic self-efficacy, active learning motivation and good learning process help students support the skill assessment. In the future, the reform of skill assessment of Children and Adolescent Health should focus on stimulating students’ learning motivation, improving academic self-efficacy and students’ support for experimental skill assessment.
