Opportunities and challenges for the professional development of university teachers in the construction of first-class curriculum—taking Hunan University of Chinese Medicine as an example

Abstract: The construction of first-class curriculum is another round of curriculum quality reform that adapts to the development of higher education in the new era. This quality reform not only brings about the innovation of curriculum concept, content, method and mode, but also becomes a key field and infuses new connotation for the professional development of university teachers. This paper analyzes the new requirements of first-class curriculum construction on the professional development of university teachers, as well as the reality of professional development of traditional Chinese medicine university teachers in the field of first-class curriculum construction, and takes Hunan University of Chinese Medicine as an example to put forward the action strategy of teacher professional development driven by training, management and culture.
