Application prospects of virtual reality technology in infectious diseases teaching

摘要: 随着科技的飞速发展,虚拟现实技术作为一项创新的教育工具,正日益引起医学教育界的关注。本文通过分析传染病学科教学的特点与难点,总结和展望虚拟现实技术的特性与应用,试图探索虚拟现实技术在传染病学教学和研究领域的应用前景与可能性,并提出建立传染病基础和实验教学的虚拟现实电子数据库的思考,将数据模型与虚拟现实技术相结合,实现病原种类、发病机制、应对策略的模拟与联动。

Abstract: With the rapid development of technology, virtual reality (VR) technology, as an innovative educational tool, is increasingly attracting attention from the medical education community. This article analyzes the characteristics and difficulties of infectious disease teaching, summarizes and looks at the characteristics and applications of VR technology. It explores the application prospects and possibilities of VR technology in infectious disease teaching and research, and proposes the establishment of a VR electronic database for infectious disease basic and experiment teaching. By combining data models with VR technology, it may help to realize the simulation and linkage of pathogen types, pathogenesis, and corresponding strategies.
