Abstract: Resident standardized training is an important part of medical students' post-graduation education. It plays a vital role in connecting the past and the future by applying medical skills to serving patients. The course ideological and political education is of great significance in resident standardized training. In the oral surgery program training base in Shanghai Ninth People's Hospital, Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine, ideological and political education in this discipline was carried out among students through theoretical teaching, clinical practice and other measures. A questionnaire survey was conducted among 148 students who rotated in this base to understand the students' satisfaction after the implementation of the ideological and political course in this base and its impact on the remodeling of their clinical awareness, clinical ability and professional values, By constantly improving and further strengthening the ideological and political education in the curriculum of the base, it will provide experience for continuously improving and further strengthening the ideological and political education of this base.
