Thoughts on the training of medical talents after the major public health crisis

Abstract: The importance of the medical rescue is reflected in COVID-19 major public health crisis, with unprecedented human, material and financial cost, huge social cost, also with secondary medical unfavorable impact on many innocent patients. Medical workers bear the brunt of the epidemic and play a key role in the fight against COVID-19. However, the epidemic also exposed some problems in medical professional training. How to strengthen the public's awareness of prevention rather than treatment? How to change the focus of medical students' training accordingly? How to improve the number of medical students and the quality of enrollment? These are problems worthy of further consideration by medical educators.
