Abstract: With the development of global economic integration and information technology, internationalization, the symbol of the era, has gradually become an obvious trend of medical education reform. Papers are the main output form of scientific research activities in colleges and universities. By studying the current situation of international cooperation in scientific research papers of 17 independent medical colleges and universities, this paper analyses the current situation of international cooperation in scientific research in medical colleges and universities. We find the quality of international cooperation papers is obviously higher and the level of basic medicine needs to be improved. It is suggested to apply for more overseas cooperative institutions and overseas funds, refine the research content, and improve the quality of papers in order to enhance the level of medical research in China.
