Study on assessment questionnaire of resident post competency

Abstract: Resident post competency evaluation is an important part of post-graduate medical education system.Through literature research and expert consultation, this study analyzed the composition of core competence of resident doctors in the United States, the “Milestone plan” and the existing scale for assessing the residents’ competence in China,and built a localized assessment questionnaire of resident post competence based on the connotation of the objectives of resident training in China. Questionnaire can be used to evaluate the competency of residents by themselves, colleagues and patients, and can provide reference for improvement of post-graduate education system by establishing a training-evaluation-feedback-improvement cycle.
