Ecological perspectives on English teaching-team building in medical universities

Abstract: Teaching-team building is drawing more and more attention, for it is of critical significance to develop the college English teachers’ professional skills, academic skills and personalities by means of building teaching-teams. The relationships reflected from the teaching-team building process include the relationship between the team organizers and the team members, the relationship between the team members, as well as the relationships between micro-environment, school environment and social environment the team members live in. All these are nonetheless related with the systematic feature, organic feature and dynamic balance of the team building. Guided by ecological perspectives, this paper explores the ecological factors in building the teaching-teams in the medical universities and puts forward some constructive ecological strategies, thus offering a new angle to study the teaching-team building..
