Abstract: At present, China’s medical postgraduate training is divided into scientific degree and professional degree, both in the cultivation of research-oriented and application-oriented talents with a different focus. Traditional medical postgraduate training use “spoon-fed” teaching methods, and postgraduates of scientific degrees, in particular, only focus on theoretical knowledge and experimental skills to consolidate the study, but ignorethe learning ability, scientific research and innovation ability, with little knowledge of evidence-based medicine thus restricting the high quality of postgraduate education. Beijing Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital, affiliated to Capital Medical University, is strong in the diagnosis and treatment of obstetrics and gynecology common diseases, frequently-occurring diseases and difficult diseases. As a prestigious three-level specialist hospital, we have a wealth of experience in postgraduate education in obstetrics and gynecology. Therefore, this article will combine our teaching experiences, to explore how to develop all-round high-quality obstetrics and gynecology graduates in the context ofintegration of global economy, culture andeducation.
