Investigation and analysis on the situation of medical imaging technology graduates

Abstract: Objective To evaluate the teaching quality of colleges and universities through the self evaluation of medical imaging-technology graduates of rural orientation and feedback from the graduates’ employers. Methods By way of questionnaire survey and telephone, we investigated the graduates of 2012 from Medical Imaging Technology College, Capital University of Medical Sciences, and also their employers. Results 1, A total of 98.07% employers were satisfied with the graduates they employed. 2, The graduates’ satisfaction rate for the “1+2” teaching mode was 100% and for the clinical practice stage was 93.45%. 3, A total of 95% of the graduates thought that teaching arrangements were useful in practice. 4, A total of 78.57% of the graduates were satisfied with the unit of choice and their employers. Conclusion College and university teaching is effective for medical imaging technology professional students, but need to be improved in the internship arrangement and teaching contents.
