Abstract: As an important part of surgery, clinical orthopaedics is indispensable knowledge and skill in medical students' training. It is important to cultivate the students' clinical capability, promote the quality and effectiveness of teaching, and do well in clinical teaching of orthopaedics according to the students' features and their practical situation of learning. In this article, some teaching methods were explored and discussed, such as the introduction of visual and practical cases, the training of clinical operating and thinking capacity, the emphasis on foreign language teaching of orthopaedics, and the training of doctor-patient communication capability.
