Analysis of influence factors of the staff turnover in a grade class-three hospital of Beijing in recent ten years

Abstract: Objective   Medical workers, as the key asset for hospital, are the roots and driving force of hospital development. Grade class-three hospitals integrate clinical treatment, scientific research and medical teaching. High-level professional and technical medical personnel are indispensable for the advance of hospitals. How to effectively attract talents, manage talents, establish a reasonable talent echelon, and prevent the adverse impact of staff turnover on the hospital has become an important part of hospital human resource management. Methods   By using the effective data in the human resource management system of our hospital, we analyzed the flow of formal staff in the hospital in recent 10 years. ResultsStatistical analysis of the staff turnover in recent 10 years revealed that staff from the key departments, nursing staff, staff with long-term service and highly educated personnel accounted for a large proportion of the staff quitting the jobs. Conclusion   This paper discusses the reasons and preventive measures, puts forward some constructive suggestions on selection and employment, remuneration package, personal career development and professional promotion. It also provides reference for hospital and human resource managers to promote the sustainable development of the hospital.
