Comparative analysis of the current situation of medical teaching reform in China and abroad

Abstract: Based on the development of society, the progress of science, and the inherent rule in medical education, higher medical education is both confronted with challenges and embraced with opportunities for further advancement. It is thus imperative to reform higher medical education. This article thoroughly discusses three aspects of teaching reform in the current higher medical education reform in terms of their status quo and problems: admission criteria, competence, and teaching approach.
