Abstract: Based on the basic teaching, clinical teaching and modern education technology in medical universities, it would be extremely significant to establish suitable channels and methods for rural doctors to learn medical knowledge of traditional Chinese medicine, in order to increase their skills in medicine which is more suitable for local situation, and to resolve the problems of "poor access and high fee" in rural areas. The medical universities should fully play an important role in continuing medical education to promote the development of the continuing education of rural doctors on traditional Chinese medicine.
