Ecological perspectives on English teaching-team building in medical universities

摘要: 教学团队建设作为高等学校提高教学质量的重要举措越来越受到关注。通过教学团队的建设来提高医学院校大学英语教师在专业、学术和人格方面的发展有着重要的现实意义。教学团队的建设反映的是团队组织者与团队成员之间、团队成员与团队成员之间、团队成员自我成长环境与团队成员发展所处的队内环境、学校环境和社会环境之间的关系,涉及团队建设的系统性、有机性和平衡性。本文运用生态学观点和原则,从生态论视角分析影响医学院校英语教学团队建设的生态因素并提出团队的生态建设策略,这为医学院校英语教学团队建设研究提供新的视角。

Abstract: Teaching-team building is drawing more and more attention, for it is of critical significance to develop the college English teachers’ professional skills, academic skills and personalities by means of building teaching-teams. The relationships reflected from the teaching-team building process include the relationship between the team organizers and the team members, the relationship between the team members, as well as the relationships between micro-environment, school environment and social environment the team members live in. All these are nonetheless related with the systematic feature, organic feature and dynamic balance of the team building. Guided by ecological perspectives, this paper explores the ecological factors in building the teaching-teams in the medical universities and puts forward some constructive ecological strategies, thus offering a new angle to study the teaching-team building..
